I Love

I think I was born in the wrong era.
At least the wrong music era.

Even though I like newer music just fine, and I can totally rock out to it if I'm in the mood, I just don't appreciate it as much as I absolutely Luh-huh-huv the oldies.

I can't help but get a ginormous grin on my face whenever I listen to music like this.
(You know. The stuff that's actually legit instead of completely auto-tuned/computerized.)

I find myself wishing I was born in the 60's or 70's and had all these records instead of CD's/iTunes files. (though I do appreciate my iPod)

But, man... weren't the Osmonds dreamy back in the day? Their smiles especially.
And, I want one of those outfits.
And, I wish I could dance like them.
(Why don't people dance like that anymore?)

Please, just watch.

Cause it's real great.

And hey, you can call me crazy all you want..........
But I won't care.

Oh Ashley! You are a girl after my own heart. I feel the exact same way. I love love love music from the 20s to the 70s. They just don't make em like they used to and love little Donny Osmond...but not as much as I love you! Good luck with finals and everything coming up! Love ya!

ALSO, do you think that Kyle Lemperle looks a little like young Donny Osmond? So random, but I think he does! ;)

I thoroughly enjoyed this video.....not only the dancing, but the CLOTHES and the HAIR. I love it. Great stuff. I once saw this really weird screamo band in concert that would dance and move all synchronized like the Temptations...so maybe it's not quite dead yet? But given that it was a screamo band....yeah, it is dead.

hahaha! YES!!! Donny Osmond is like the eternally hot male. (oh, he lives next door to kenn's roomates parents and he was her primary teacher. Cool huh? oh and there is a 2nd generation Osmond in my institute class?? pretty saweet, no?? ) But I loved this and it made me smile! If you are looking for other great artists of this era, check out the momas and the papas. I love love love them! But of course the best of the best of the best of the best is Richard and Karen Carpenter!!!!
