Wonderful Weekend

I had the best weekend.

I wish I had some pictures to show for it.... But, alas, I don't.
(I'll try to get better at that, I promise!)

Just trust me when I say that it was spectacular!

I listened to General Conference and was uplifted and inspired by every minute of it. My favorite was President Uchtdorf's talk. It was
amazing! Check it out.
(thanks for the link, Catherine!)

I also spent some much-needed quality time with the family.

Seriously,
nothing is better than that.

Saturday night, the girls got together while the boys were at the Priesthood session and ate dinner, played games, watched The Princess and the Frog
(which I loooooved, by the way. If you haven't seen it, you need to) and just had fun and enjoyed each other's company.

We also had a mini Easter egg hunt for the younger kids, and I got to hide them this year! Woohoo!

Sunday, we went to Grandma's for the traditional homemade chicken noodle soup, Conference testimony meeting
(where each of us shares our favorite talk from Conference), and homemade ice cream.

It was so neat that Conference and Easter landed on the same day this year. As Grandma said,
"I can't think of a better way to celebrate the Easter holiday than to be listening to the words of the living prophets as they testify and teach of the Savior."
Couldn't have said it better.

Hope your weekend was as fantabulous as mine! Happy Easter!
...and now, Happy Monday!
