Okay, well... not really.
But I was quoted in the Statesman (USU Newspaper) today!
And that's not exactly what I said (actually not even close, though I do recall I used the word "exudes"), but whatevs. She made me sound pretty intelligent, so I'll take it.
And FYI, the person I'm talking about is Jordan Christy,
author of this book:
The book is all about being "classy" in a world where doing so might not exactly be trendy. I read it maybe a year-ish(?) ago and loved it, so when I found out she was coming to USU, I had to go! She did a lecture/presentation and a lot of it was Q&A but it was great. A couple of things that she said that I loved:
"Be confident in your beliefs. You don't have to be ashamed about your beliefs or convictions, even if no one else shares them"
"Don't ever change your personality for anyone. Be yourself, but be the best possible version of yourself."
She was a very classy lady (as I mentioned in my "quote", haha)
and y'all should read her book! It's great.
