The Best Things...

If seeing the title of this post made you continue on with
"...happen while you're dancing. Things that you  would not do at home come naturally on the floor."
then we can be friends.

If you're confused, watch:

Best Christmas movie. Ever.

Annnnnnnyway. It's not even Halloween yet, so sorry about that little random tangent.

Here's what I think are the best things lately:

→Having time to read two books in two days. I have so much time on my hands these days I don't know what to do with myself... so, I curl up in my bed in comfy sweats and read. What what?

→Hot chocolate. I didn't used to have this opinion, but my mind has been changed.  Also, warm pumpkin spice... drink? (it's not chocolatey... so I don't know what to call it) is AMAZING.

→The most wonderful roommates, whom I love dearly. We're all in LDV together, and every time we come home from a performance or rehearsal we all just end up sitting and talking, sometimes for hours. They're the best.
Don't really know what we're doing in this picture, but I love it.
→Classes getting canceled, and thus being able to sleep in. Again, what is my life? Being a super senior is the best. I highly recommend it. (Actually, I don't. 5 years of school is not exactly fun. But having an extraordinarily chill semester after 8 insane ones is wonderful.)

→70 degree fall days. I love that it's cooler outside now, I was kind of sick of summer weather. But a day of 70 was seriously perf. With the constant breeze always going in Logan, it was the perfect combination of fall-feeling air and the sun warming my soul.

→The Mormon Channel app, on which I listen to at least one conference talk every morning while I get ready. Love the peace that comes from that.

→Walks to the temple, usually by myself. It's just down the road from my house this year, and I love the spirit I can feel even just sitting outside it.

→Having someone I can trust to listen to any crazy thought that pops up in my head, without judging or running away terrified at my strangeness. That's an incredible thing.

Happy Friday!

I love White Christmas. Every time I see a list or a poll of Christmas movies, I feel like I rarely see it on there and yet it's such a classic.
