The Red Iguana {2} + Salt Lake Adventures

When Jim suggested we head to Salt lake with his siblings who live close and have a lil' party day, I was skeptical at first. I've lived near SLC for my entire life, and have never really thought of it as a "tourist spot". SLC? Been there, done that. It's been years since I've done anything there aside from conference and temple square lights... But I'm so glad we went! It was a great day. We first went to the Red Iguana {2} and let me tell you, it was incredibly delicious! Legit Mexican food right there, folks. But a word of caution: the burritos are humongous and they give you TWO! Just be prepared for lots of leftovers. :)
Yes, double post of this picture. But I love it!
After a delicious lunch, we went through a bit of temple square, to the church history museum (the hall of the prophets is amazing), and then over to City Creek for some ice cream. It was a simple and great day, but it made me excited to check out what Salt Lake has to offer more often! Plus, it was fun to hang with some of the Neve clan, and to do these things with Jim for the first time. He loved it. :)

P.S. I had these grand plans for something awesome on here today, but then insomnia happened last night (hence my blog redesign... I have ADD) and I literally have no energy today. SO.... ya'll come back tomorrow, ya hear?

Happy Monday!
