21 Hours and Counting

Me and my bestie - my sister Lex.
Dear Lexie-Lou/Mexi Lexi/Lex Luther,

It seems like it was just yesterday that you left, and yet it feels like it's been a million years since I've seen you. How does that work? Who knows. What I do know is that I'm so grateful for your example. You may be two years younger than me, but I feel like you've always had life a lot more figured out than I have. You're so smart, so beautiful, and you have a killer testimony. I look up to you in so many ways.

So much has happened while you've been gone. I mean, I GOT MARRIED. What. But your endless support of that decision, even though I know it was hard for you to not be there (it was hard for me too) has meant the world to me. I can't wait for you to meet Jim; you're gonna love him, I know it.

I just want to thank you for being my rock. There were a lot of good days while you were gone, but there were some really hard ones too. I'm so grateful that I could always feel your prayers in my behalf. Thanks for being someone I could always lean on, in good times and bad.

Oh, sister Lex. You're my best friend. I can't believe the wait is finally over and you're coming home TOMORROW!! I'm so very proud of you for serving an honorable mission, but I'm over-the-moon happy to have you come home again.

I love you!
