Now that it's 80 degrees outside and basically summer and I won't be wearing these for a while, let me finally tell you about my rain boots. LOLZZZZ

I've been wanting a pair of these for probably 5 years at least. And if I was mega rich, I'd probably have a pair in every single color. I've never had shoes that could keep my feet dry in the rain or snow, and the fact that these come in every possible color you could imagine is just so fun to me. Yes, okay, they're rubber boots but I just think they're adorable and have thought so for a long time. But, alas, my love affair with these began when I was in college and there was no way I could afford them.

Fast forward a few years, and I found these pretties on ASOS, where I somehow managed to score a 25% discount AND they were on sale, so I paid like 70% of the normal price. They shipped wicked fast, and they've been a delight ever since. :)

Now........ since that time, I may or may not have acquired more than one pair. Heh heh. I just love them too much! But the red ones are my favorite, so that's what I took a picture of. Despite what people have said about them not being good winter boots, they served me well all winter long (with two pairs of thick socks to keep the tootsies warm). I also sometimes wore them when it wasn't even raining or snowing (and my male coworkers made fun. They just don't understand! ;) but I think they look cute with lots of things, rain or shine.

As I mentioned earlier, I probably won't bust them out for summer rainstorms unless I want to go puddle-jumping, because they're honestly quite warm. But I'm pleased to finally have them in my l'il collection.

And there you have it. I'm aware that this sounded a bit silly. And I'm okay with that. :)

Happy Wednesday!
