150 Books (and Counting)

by - 3/28/2019

101 in 1001 #77. Read (or listen to) 150 books over the course of the list || Completed November 2018.

Books pictured in order from newest to oldest. Wundersmith was my 150th book, finished on November 24, 2018!

When I set the goal of 150 books throughout the course of the list, I thought it was rather lofty. Little did I know I would surpass it at about halfway and at this point I've read 54 books beyond what I'd originally planned! What can I say? I've found a renewed love for reading the past few years and have made it a priority. When something is a priority, you MAKE time for it, and that's what I do. You might not believe that I do anything besides read, but trust me, my house is relatively clean, Jack and I have full-day playdates with his cousins, I go on dates with my husband, I regularly see friends, I work twice a week, etc.

I don't know why I feel the need to defend myself... I guess it's less of a defense and more that I just want to prove that it's possible, even if you're busy! I firmly believe EVERYONE has time to read at LEAST 2 books a month, if not one book a week. If you really want to do it, you can! I also don't watch a lot of TV lately, but I don't miss it!

Of this 150 there are a lot of favorites, a few duds, and quite a few just in-betweens. I thought about highlighting some but I'm not feeling up to that, lol. If you're looking for my star-ratings (and a few more in-depth reviews) on any of these books, check out my 2018 reading challenge HERE and my 2017 challenge HERE. From these pages you can click on any of the book covers and  it will take you to what I thought of the books. I don't always write out reviews for every book, but I always give star ratings.

I've been absolutely LOVING reading more lately and it's my goal to continue making it a part of my life as much as I can, forever. Because it just brings me so much joy!

Proud to say I'll probably get to 300 books before my list is over... and that's a mind-blowing number but so fun, too!

Happy Reading!
